Emile Hirsch Brings ‘Taking Woodstock’ To Cannes

Brokeback Mountain director Ang Lee took on some lighter fare for his latest film Taking Woodstock, which focuses on the real-life story of Woodstock concert organizer Elliot Tiber.

Starring comedian Demitri Martin, his adorable bowl haircut and Emile Hirsch, the film is set in 1969 and is described by Lee as “the innocence of a young generation departing from the old establishment and trying to find a more refreshing way, more fair way to live with everybody else.”

And the whole gang, headed up by Milk star Hirsch, made their way to the Cannes Film Festival for a photocall and probably to catch a glimpse of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Wouldn’t you?

I think a movie about Bill graham would be way more interesting. no offense to this guy.

Emile Hirsh and his friend Erika are dirt bags for selling out Rob Pattinson to the gossip mags. I’ll never see another one of his movies EVER AGAIN! I hope you enjoy the money you made from selling the pics and lies because people aren’t going to ever forget what you’ve done!!
