Emma Watson Ready To Take Her New Look Back To School

Emma Watson has certainly grown up, leaving her Hermione days behind her with a new look as she starts her sophomore year at Brown University. The actress was pictured at Heathrow Airport on her way to Boston on Sunday, dressed smartly in cropped jeans and cardigan paired with her new pixie cut.

“I missed all that experimentation that most teenagers go
through,” Watson explained of her cut. “I’ve wanted to do this since I was about 16, so as soon as I
had the chance I was like, “Right. This is it.”

So what will her friends back at school think of the oft-talked about the severe new do?

“I knew everyone was going to have an opinion, and I couldn’t deal with it,” she said. “I have to get myself into a good place to deal with people saying things like, ‘It’s terrible! She looks like a boy!”‘

But Emma’s latest Twitter update was cheerful, reading, “It’s great to be back at uni – having the best time!“

Except, minor detail Em…Brown started classes on Sept. 1!

    Maybe you shouldn’t copy and paste from the tabloids. Em was at Brown in late August. She flew back to UK on business for three days and these pics are from her SECOND return to Brown.
    Yeah… minor detail.

    Cutting your hair is not going to make getting away from the mob of fans any easier, but at least it will get rid of the little kid look that has haunted all the other child characters involved. Everybody should be so proud of you for making your own path. It has paied off for every succesful woman in show business that has every tried. Love how you did it! It don’t get more original than that…she is such an artist.
