Playing a doctor whose character is best known as McSteamy on Grey’s Anatomy, Eric Dane was confused to say the least when he found that his on-again, off-again flame Lara Flynn Boyle had her heart stolen by Jack Nicholson, a man more than double Dane’s age at the time.
Dane, who stars in Marley & Me with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, told Elle magazine, “The guy’s a colossal personality, and I’m sure he’s charming, and I bet she had a lot of fun with him.” That said, Eric was a young, hot thirtysomething and couldn’t fully understand the appeal. He continued, “I couldn’t comprehend a 35-year-old woman gravitating toward a 70-year-old man…I walked away.”
Eric, honey. There’s a lot which is incomprehensible about that woman.
