“At Last” singer Etta James seemed pleased with the performance Beyonce Knowles delivered in Cadillac Records, that is, until she took to the stage at a concert in Seattle not that long ago. YB&F reported that Ms. James was none too pleased with Beyonce’s rendition of her signature song for Michelle and Barack Obama‘s first dance as President and First Lady.
You guys know your president, right? You know, the one with the big ears? Yeah, wait a minute, he ain’t my president. He might be yours. He ain’t my president. But I tell you, that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she’s gonna get her ass whooped.
Here’s the full audio clip of her on-stage rant. Apparently, it’s all fun and games with Etta until you get the president involved.
