Looking very much like a teensy silver trophy herself, Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria sizzled in a sparkly silver sheath dress at thie year’s ALMA Awards.

The event took place at Royce Hall on the UCLA Campus in Westwood, host to such Latin stars as Salma Hayek, Edward James Olmos and George Lopez.

New mom Salma was stunning in a pale purple, backless mini-dress in a roaring 20s vibe that included dark red lipstick and oversized jewelry.

Her buddy, Penelope Cruz took home a prize for her performance in the Woody Allen flick, Vicky Cristina Barcelona but was a no-show at the event. Hmm, maybe someone didn’t have the energy to find a dress that would conceal her baby bump?

Selena Gomez won an award for her series, The Wizards of Waverly Place, for which she recently received an Emmy.
