Though season two’s finale wasn’t quite as compelling as season one’s (I have really high standards. Seeing Katherine for the first time last year really freaked me out), I am really looking forward to season three of The Vampire Diaries, premiering September 15th at 8 p.m. Why? Like other Delena fans, I want to see Damon and Elena hook up. The sexual tension between those two is nothing short of hot-hottie-hot and enough is enough. Get it on, already!
TVD head honchos Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec told The Hollywood Reporter at Comic Con that they too want to see a little rolling around. HOWEVER, this does not mean that it will happen. This is strictly their opinion and doesn’t confirm that we’ll see Damon and Elena together. “The one thing I do want to see filmed and I’ll say it because it hasn’t happened yet and it may never happen,” Williamson said, “but I do want to see — and I will go on the record to every Stelena fan in the world — I do want to see Damon and Elena get it on.”

Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder is leading a charge of his own on behalf of the environment. The CW star, who landed at Reagan National Airport today to appear at a Senate Hearing on Capitol Hil, tweeted, “Im testifying before the natural resources committee on thurs.pls ask your members of congress to come & support conservation;) Thank you!”
