With her 20th birthday just days away on December 13, 19-year-old Taylor Swift has straightened her trademark long, blond curls for a new look to go with her entrance into he life as a 20-something.

On her MySpace blog, she writes, “I’m only a teenager for another week! I’m starting to practice saying ‘Twenty’ when people ask me how old I am.” Additionally, she took the opportunity to express her appreciation for her fans by writing, “Thank you again for everything you guys have done to make all of these magical things happen to me.”

Although her new hair is quite sleek and stylish, bangs and all, I’m hoping she’ll eventually go back to the playful curls.
