Soccer star David Beckham has returned from his brief stint at AC Milan to play his team, the Los Angeles Galaxy. However, the British athlete did receive a hero’s welcome.

First of all, David’s teammate Landon Donovan has openly questioned where Beckham’s loyalty resides. And fans are echoing the sentiment, expressing their discontent with boos and signs at the Home Depot Center for David’s return to the soccer field here in the States.

Luckily for David, however, he had famous friends up in the stands to show their support. Tom Cruise, the admitted namesake of the Beckhams’ son, Cruz Beckham, accompanied Victoria Beckham up in their expensive seats.

Later, in the parking lot, some particularly grumbly fans were found staked with an expensive Christian Louboutin stiletto to the heart. I’m not pointing any fingers, but those big sunglasses sure do hide a lot of sins.
