Take a deep breath and thank the fashion gods. The baggy jean is coming to town. The starlets have jumped on the train while waving goodbye to taut denim. Penelope Cruz, Katie Holmes, Gwyneth ‘fish-sticks’ Paltrow and Jessica Alba are gracing the pages of Life & Style Magin their new denim duds in the April 30th issue.
I say it’s about time. But be careful with your wide-leg jeans. They may look good on just about every figure, but please don’t cover your entire foot with yards of denim. Take Katie Holmes for instance. The look is cute and casual, but as you scan downward, you’ll note that she appears to be missing some feet.
While skinny jeans are still in the spotlight, I’m thankful it appears that things are loosening up a bit. It is really scary to see people squeeze into them and you can see their blood desperately trying to pulse through their legs.

Not to nit-pick, but I think you mean “taut” jeans, not “taught” jeans…

How I hope this article is wrong, I love my skinny jeans. And I will rue the day when we go to wide leg look so unflattering and yuck.
Next thing we’re all going to be Gangsta? I think(& hope) not.

This is the 2nd time baggy jeans have come around. People were wearing them from 1993-2002. Skinny jeans have been in for so few years, that this baggy thing is barely even a comeback.
