Fergie-Ferg, singer of the Black Eyed Peas, has had her fair share of media scrutiny and has recently said that she understands the kind of behavior that the young, out-of-control, 20-something-year-olds like Lindsay Lohan and most notably, Britney Spears are currently experiencing. The Dutchess knows only too well what it’s like to be in and out of rehab, having had dealt with kicking her crystal meth addiction. Fergie expressed her sympathy for Britney and the rest, saying that what they need is a chance to get better without so much pressure from the media.
“They’re young,” Fergie (real name: Stacy Ferguson) said at a Conde Nast Fashion Rocks event in New York. “I was young when I went through my stuff. Leave them alone. If they want to get better, they’re going to get better on their own.”
Fergie, you’re right. But here’s the thing, if we’re not going to talk about that, then we’re going to have to focus on you and your ridiculous insistence on wearing WAY too many items of clothing that still show off way too much skin, inexplicably. It’s like looking like the porno version of Annie Hall over here.

Ooookay, that’s fine except for the fact that Britney keeps flashing the kitty, partying all night and day in PUBLIC and basically flaunting her craziness for all to see1 That surely makes her a TARGET for the media now doesn’t it? Then get your A** into a REAL rehab, go to AA and NA, work a good solid program and straighten yourself up! All she ever talked about was wanting to be a young mother, well she got her wish, now step up to the plate and grow up.

First of all, in Hollywood, age has no bearing on how mature or immature you are, as evidenced by Kid Rock and Tommy Lee. And countless others. Secondly, Ferg needs to stop wearing those fugg hats. And ditch the vest.

WOW – some of you nice folks out here must have lived perfect lives in your late teens and twenties. There’s no other explanation for your total venom against those who were less than perfect at that age. I hope you never drank too much and threw up, tried a drug or two, slept with someone and regretted it, thought you were in love with someone and found out they were awful, or wore something totally ridiculous at that age, and then laughed about it as you got older and wiser; otherwise you might just come off as hypocrites.
Um, yeah, we all have made mistakes, but the issue is the media coverage of it all. How many doctors, teachers, social workers, etc. are in debt beyond belief just trying to do their jobs and make a difference (a REAL difference in the world) Instead, the world is handed to these “celebrities” – obscene amounts of money, negotiable rules (How many times do they get out of something as simple as a speeding ticket?) and yet the rest of us are supposed to feel SORRY?? Yeah, they have problems like everyone else, but with every profession there’s a give and take. You want to be a doctor, lawyer, any profession be prepared to starve for a while unless you have some money to put yourself through years of school. You want to make millions and have the best of everything while only having to throw out a crappy movie or two? Yes, privacy is your price. No one forced this on you. DEAL WITH IT or, like any other normal person, find a different career. Oh wait, most of them quit school or never took education seriously. In that case, they deserve everything they get for thinking they are above the rest of the much harder working world.
