Red is definitely Beyonce‘s color! Beyonce made her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The singer stepped out in New York City on Monday, February 6 night in support of husband Jay-Z. The rapper is playing two charity shows in aid of the United Way of New York City and his own Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
Showing off her post-baby body at Jay-Z’s Carnegie Hall concert, the 30-year-old R&B diva opted to go with a figure-hugging red dress by Alice Temperley. She completed her evening look with Ofira & Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, an Alexander McQueen clutch, and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.
During the event, the first of two concerts, Jay Z took to the stage to perform with stars including Alicia Keys and Nas, while he also paid tribute to his daughter, telling the audience, “Put a hand in the air for Blue,” before launching into Glory, a track he wrote in honour of his daughter’s birth.
