The 17-year-old daughter of late rocker Kurt Cobain and singer Courtney Love, Frances Bean Cobain, is growing up and displaying a fashion sense that echoes back to the time of her parents’ grunge heyday.

Pairing a print dress with a plunging neckline with a thick leather belt and some clunky cowboy boots, the musical progeny casually strolls through the East Village of New York, making her way to the vintage store, Zachary’s Smile.

The teenager concealed her face somewhat from the paparazzi behind red-dyed locks, bright crimson lipstick and some huge sunglasses. The only thing missing is a turtle on her head.
