Going for a strikingly natural look, Christina Aguilera forgoes her usual overly-done red lipstick and eyes for a softer image on the cover of Marie Claire. It’s quite endearing to see the former dirrty girl radiating such an angelic glow.

Well, girlfriend is in a better place these days and it definitely shows. At a splashy New Year’s Eve soiree, she talked about her hopes for 2010 and her new album that will be dropping this year. Entitled Bionic, the album “is about the future,” according to X-Tina.

Aguilera also explains that she tones down the vocal histrionics and instead does what “maybe I’ve been afraid to do in the past, to allow myself to go
to a place of ‘less singing.’ I’m more vulnerable and more
strong at the same time.”

Sort of like this magazine cover. Can’t wait to hear it. Let’s hope it just keeps getting better.
