I’d like to be George Clooney‘s next girlfriend, because life seems to be pretty good for Elizabeth Canalis.  Clooney took his 32-year-old girlfriend to dine at Restaurant Il Gatto Nero near his Lake Como home in Italy.  According to the Daily Mail, the restaurant is a favorite of the couple.

Clooney is in Italy on break from filming Gravity in London with Sandra Bullock.  He’ll also shoot an advertisement while in the country.  The day after their date, Canalis wore a slinky orange mini to appear on the Italian TV program, La Notte Degli Chef.

Canalis recently told Italian magazine Chi that she’d like to be married at some point.  “In the future I will be married.  but for the time being I am happy as I am. I don’t need anything to confirm how happy I am,” the actress said.
