Enjoying a little downtime, George Clooney enjoys a little relaxation in Mexico with his best buddy Rande Gerber, who is the husband of model Cindy Crawford. You deserve it George, because you’ve got a busy schedule ahead of you.

Clooney just signed on to star in A Very Private Gentleman, directed by Anton Corbijn. George will play and assassin based on Martin Booth’s book of the same name.

The film sees main character, Clark, move to a rural Southern Italy village. Clark poses as an artist painting butterfly miniatures. Overcoming his anti-social nature, Clark makes friends and builds-up a relationship with a prostitute whilst having semi-confessional sessions with the local priest. However, as time goes on, he senses someone is on his trail and yes, you guessed it, from there on in, things go a little awry.

I enjoy watching George Clooney on screen when things go a little awry. 28 Weeks Later‘s, Rowan Joffe is writing the screenplay and shooting is due to begin in the Fall.
