Although it’s well-known that George Clooney is a merry prankster off-screen, the debonair actor is best known for his impeccable red carpet style.
Clooney has taken on the role of smooth-talking Danny Ocean in the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy, but when it comes to working with directing/producing team of Ethan and Joel Coen, often finds himself playing the charming but bumbling fool.
When Ethan Cohen explained why he and his brother chose not to cast Clooney in the lead role for their most recent film, A Serious Man, the filmmaker said, “Right after he wrapped on Burn After Reading and he was on his way home, he said to us, ‘That’s it, boys, I’ve played my last idiot!’ ”
Aww, George, but you’re such a lovable one.
