Here’s George Clooney looking gentlemanly (where’s that crazy woman who was chasing him?) at the Not On Our Watch charity gala at the 65th annual Venice Film Festival. Meanwhile you’re sitting at your desk at work on your fourth Diet Coke and your boss is wondering why he’s stil waiting on that spreadsheet and you’re thinking about how the turkey you used to make your sandwich for lunch today had that kind of gross deli meat gloss on it. Yeah, and Clooney’s in a tux in beautiful Venice – probably jauntily holding a martini and talking about the new gym in he just had put in on his yacht that’s docked at his Italian villa.

There’s no need to hang your head and cry. He was on Facts of Life, the Over Our Heads era, so he’s sorta paid his dues. They sold inflatable chairs and he had a redheaded child sidekick. Those probably weren’t fun days for him.
