The day before George Michael will be performing to a sold-out crowd at Wembley Stadium in London, he’ll be facing a judge on drug charges. He had requested not to be absent during the trial, but was told that he could show up, get out on bail and then come back for the last day.
The 43-year-old singer, whose real name is George Panayiotou, was arrested in October. He faces charges of driving under the influence of drugs.
His trial starts May 8, followed by May 30, May 31 and June 8 hearings.
Michael will play the first concert at Wembley Stadium on June 9.
Earlier today, I was driving through West Hollywood and could have sworn that I saw George Michael in the Land Rover behind me. And then I realized it couldn’t be him. Because his penis appeared to be in his pants.
