Gerard Butler has been heating up the red carpet with Jennifer Aniston lately to promote The Bounty Hunter, but at this movie premiere the heat is no rumor and it’s coming from his costar a big ol’ fire breathing dragon that apparently can follow direction.
Butler joined his costars America Ferrera, Craig Ferguson , and Jonah Hill on the red carpet yesterday for the premiere of How To Train Your Dragon. Butler plays leader of a Viking tribe, whose son Hiccup is a poor excuse for a warrior.
He wasn’t so sure of the role at first, but the actor whose done everything from romantic comedy (The Ugly Truth), action (300) , to musical (Phantom) says he was blown away by this whole experience visually, emotionally. The originality, it was just really an enthralling movie,”
Ferrera, who looked amazing in a modern jumpsuit and belt, said she “jumped right on board” at the chance to work on an animated film.
We are crossing our fingers for Ferrera’s movie career. The Ugly Betty actress also recently premiered her other film Our Family Wedding as her show films it’s last episodes.
Other celebs came to enjoy the family film, including a very skinny Tori Spelling with her husband Dean McDermott and their two kids (don’t snap that arm off kid!), Wayne Brady and his daughter Maile Brady, and a silly-faced Arsenio Hall (hope someone asked him what he thought of Paula Abdul‘s attempt at Star Search, something he attempted back in 2003)
