More frightening than a recent bomb scare for Gerard Butler has been his post-300 weight gain. A source tells Page Six, “He’s so embarrassed that his six-pack abs have gone, he works out wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses.”

In addition, the star–who is currently in New York City filming his moving with Jennifer Aniston, The Bounty–is working out at a highly exclusive gym in Chelsea, named Peak Performance.

I’m all about being physically fit but Gerard’s still a hunk of man with or without a few extra pounds. Who cares if his kilt’s getting a little tight? Not me.
