The stars of G.I. Joe The Rise of The Cobra arrived via a customized speedboat to the Australian premiere, docking at the harbor in Sydney.
Perhaps, excited to finally get out of their Army-issued gear worn for the film, the stars were fairly casually-dressed for the red-carpet event. Newlywed, Channing Tatum explained his interest in signing on as the action movie’s hero, “I’m a big supporter of the soldiers and the military and I don’t have a view on the war at all, I’m not a political person. But this is a fantasy film, it is an escape from everything that is going on
Sienna Miller turned up in a short summer dress and high-heeled boots. The British actress plays The Baroness in the film, a role that had her wearing a full-length black leather cat suit. Miller tells press, “I won’t be wearing one again. Squeezing myself into that with the aid of talcum powder every day for five months was more than enough.” She added, “I could barely move in it anyway.”
In addition to her fashion constraints, Miller says an on-set explosion nearly turned disastrous. “Luckily it wasn’t my breasts, it was the bit in-between. It got a bit burnt when an explosion got a bit close.” But calm down everyone. They’re safe.
