Is all this talk about the Beckhams readying themselves for a move across the Atlantic for real? Well, the special magic 8-ball that I possess, which I use for the sole purpose of perpetuating celebrity rumors and speculation says, “All Signs Point To…Possibly.” ContactMusic.com reports:
DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM are one step closer to moving to the US after news broke that he will be leaving his Spanish soccer team at the end of the summer (07). Real Madrid Director of Sport PREDRAG MIJATOVIC told Sky Italia the former England captain would not be signing a new contract with the club. He said, “Beckham will leave us, we will not renew his contract.”
Wouldn’t that just be the proto-typical American success story? A humble immigrant couple, consisting of a former professional athlete and a once-pop-star move to the States with just the shirts on their backs and a couple of millions in their pockets–yet somehow, just somehow, they manage to make something of themselves.
