Topping a list filled with sexy women over sixty, Helen Mirren has earned her title as the world’s sexiest older woman, at least according to a poll conducted at the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex. I’m not sure exactly who conducted this poll, or how scientific it may be, but I say run with it, bitch. From The Daily Record:

The 61-year-old still wows fans on the red carpet. And she has admitted to dressing more glamorously since playing the Queen in her latest film role. She said: “After playing the Queen, I’m desperate not to look like the Queen. I just want everyone to look at me and go, ‘How could she be the Queen? She doesn’t look anything like her!’ It’s a lot of effort.” Second in the list was Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn, 60. Charlotte Rampling, 60, was third, followed by 60-year-old Susan Sarandon and 78-year-old Avengers star Honor Blackman. Joanna Lumley, 60, was sixth, ahead of Vanessa Redgrave, 69, and Lauren Hutton, 62. Sophia Loren was ninth – still looking so fabulous at 72 that she recently posed for the famous Pirelli calendar. Blondie star Debbie Harry, 61, completed the top 10.
