There was no escaping the flood of emotions at the Grammys. With the death of superstar Whitney Houston on everyone’s mind and heart, the night began with a prayer. Like LL Cool J said, “During times like this, music is what brings people together, the night is about something truly universal. The love of music, as we honor Whitney.”
Just a few thoughts on some of the performances:
Adele – Flawless.
Jennifer Hudson – Beautiful. Tears were shed by many.
Bruce Springsteen – The Boss is The Boss.
Katy Perry – That was one angry performance. If felt as if we were watching her unload to her shrink.
Nicki Minaj – WTF was that?
