No, the character is not supposed to be based on Gwyneth herself. The actress is said to be in talks with Dreamworks to join the Farrelly Brothers (“There’s Something About Mary“) comedy. It’s a remake of the film “Seven Day Itch.”
The Farrelly brothers say they want her to star in the movie, loosely inspired remake of 1972 film The Heartbreak Kid. “Ben thinks he’s married the girl of his dreams. She’s beautiful, but then, on their honeymoon, he finds out she’s nuts,” Bobby Farrelly told the Boston Herald.

Great actress! I love Gwen !! I wonder if she had to put on a few pounds for this movie, as she looks a tad plump to me … Not her previous stick-figure self. She does look good though …
