American Idol has been nothing but shockers lately. Haley Reinhart was a fan favorite on this season of American Idol, but sadly that wasn’t enough to keep her around. After being voted off the top three, leaving Lauren Alaina and Scott McCreery as the finalists, Haley says she has no regrets.
“I accepted it very quickly and took it with a grain of salt,” Haley told PEOPLE. “I don’t regret anything. I got a chance to show versatility and I was proud to do that. I wouldn’t trade that in for the world.”

Seen here, Haley Reinhart performs during the homecoming for American Idol Season 10 finalists on May 14th at Arlington Park in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Haley’s style is so fun. She reminds me of Stevie Nicks! Haley says her biggest mentor on the show was Steven Tyler and she hopes to work with him in the future.
“Steven really helped me out and made me feel good about my performances. I would love to do a sultry bluesy rock album and slip jazz in there somehow,” Haley said.
