TV One Access has selected its 16 Sexiest Black Women Alive. Despite spending most of the year looking like she was about to explode, Halle Berry was chosen to top the list.
But TV One doesn’t think that good looks are what makes their choices sexy. “The women selected as our 16 sexiest black women aren’t just pretty faces. Each one of them is uniquely talented, strong-minded and self-assured,” said the program’s senior producer. Other woman chosen for the list include Tyra Banks and Paula Patton.
I guess anyone who can star in a movie like Catwoman and continue her acting career must have some sort of unique talent.

The sexiest black woman is HALF-white. The majority of the women in the high ranks are either BIRACIAL or so light-skinned, caucasian-looking, people think they’re biracial. LOL! The message IS clear: Black chicks can’t be beautiful nor sexy unless they’re mixed/mixed-looking! Such a hard blow to the self-esteems of non-biracial,mixed-race, dark-skinned black girls…the majority of black women.LOL!

Do you idiots even realize that ‘black’ genes are dominant genes and ‘white’ genes are recessive? Do you also not know that everyone originated in Africa to begin with so all of the features you nitpick over came from the same place?

There are plenty of ‘black’ people with so called ‘white’ features which are really just recessive traits and vice versa for ‘white’ people with so called ‘black’ features.

Beyonce is TIRED!!! And overexposed. Most of her “look” is acheived through hair weaves and lots of makeup. Halle’s way prettier and way classier.
Re: dark-skinned vs. light-skinned. You’d better be comfortable in your own skin, my dark sisters, instead of depending on white folks to acknowledge your beauty. They never will. We live in America, which has always had a Eurocentric standard of beauty. So it goes without saying that mixed-race/light-skinned women are going to be favored. It is what it is – what do you want – to change people’s minds overnight?
