Here’s Daniel Radcliffe, on his way to the Harry Potter Halloween party in London. Little did he know then that a fellow attendee of the event, Wadia Tazi, would sell a photo of the British movie star puffing on what she claims is a joint.

The Daily Mirror printed a photo of the star puffing away, with the headline, “Harry Pothead.” Tazi sold the photo to the tabloid, claiming that Radcliffe behaved erratically and “looked spaced out and didn’t look like he knew what was going on.”

A representative for Radcliffe claims that Tazi is simply blowing smoke, so to speak. In a statement released Friday, his rep asserts, “We categorically deny the allegations regarding Daniel Radcliffe published in today’s Daily Mirror. Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this.”

The statement adds, “We are considering our position and will be taking all necessary action in relation to such allegations.” They should start by blacklisting that party pooper, Wadia Tazi, from any and all future parties.
