Hayden Christensen has signed on for another sci-fi epic. He has signed on to star along with Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Bell and Max Thieriot star in the film “Jumper,” which has Christensen as a troubled young man who discovers he can teleport himself by merely thinking about it.

“This is such a big story to tell, we’re now thinking about it as a trilogy of movies, you can’t tell all of this in one film” producer Lucas Foster said in an interview on the Fox Studios set in Toronto.

Director Doug Liman (“The Bourne Identity”) and the producers told Fox executives about the franchise, and the studio approved the trilogy idea though won’t shoot further sequels until they see how this performs.
