Hayden Panettiere is giving the thumbs up in this picture because her dad Alan has been charged with misdemeanor battery. Why? He reportedly slugged his wife Lesley at their West Hollywood home back in August. You don’t do that, Ike.

will be arraigned on Oct. 11 and faces up to a year in jail.

sherrif’s spokesman said that, on Aug. 11,  Panettiere “struck his wife
(Lesley Vogel) one or two times on the cheek causing bruising with a
closed fist” after a charity event. Alan was reportedly tanked. Those
charity events are off the chain if they’re serving enough booze to
cause some asshole to get smashed and go home to cue up on his wife.
