Director Terry Gilliam led the charge at the photocall for Heath Ledger‘s last film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. With Heath’s co-star Verne Troyer by his side, Terry and the stars of the film and his daughter Amy Gilliam posed for their photocall at the Cannes Film Festival. You have to flip through this gallery, the photos of Verne Troyer and Terry Gilliam are pretty adorable.

An on-screen dedication at the beginning of a screening for the film reads, “A film from Heath Ledger and friends,” serves as a reminder of the late actor’s contribution to the film, in light of his sudden passing in January 2008.

When talking with press, Terry revealed, “There was irony throughout this film and there was even more irony post Heath’s death. I hope he would be pleased with it. I think he would be.”
