The finale for season 6 of Project Runway was filmed Friday in the midst of the hubbub of New York Fashion Week. Host Heidi Klum expressed her regret at this season’s ambivalent fate for next season.

On the runway, Klum told the audience, “This is [the designer's] moment and unfortunately nobody has seen the show yet. I’m a little bit sad for our designers that they don’t get that recognition today. We’re all in a bit of a limbo.”

Heidi’s referring, of course, to the legal issues plaguing the show, the most recent season of which has yet to air as a result. Well, Heidi could always go back to her day job…as long as she doesn’t try to interview with Wolfgang Joop.
