Heidi Montag Clearly Gets Her Bad Judgement from Her Parents

August 29th, 2007 // 14 Comments

Unless she was lying when she recently told Ryan Seacrest yesterday that her parents wholeheartedly approved of her decision to accept Spencer Pratt’s marriage proposal. Heidi said that her parents could see that the two youngsters were very much in love and compatible with one another.

“They loved Spencer, they really did.”

“They thought he was so funny, and they thought we were literally two peas in a pod.”

I’m really hoping that Heidi has absolutely no understanding of what the word “literally” means, or else it means that her parents are complete idiots. Although, the fact that they really “love” Spencer makes me wonder…

LOL! “Literally two peas in a pod” – - probably the equivalent of vegetables……

wow, after the episode I saw when he met her parents, it was pretty obvious they really disliked this guy and were trying very hard to hide it. Heidi is either in complete denial or incredibly stupid…or really good at playing along for the media exposure…

By “literally” is there any chance she meant “figuratively”?

I think what they said is “OH do what ever the hell you want you vulgar skank and quit using us as an sad example for your clueless life, and don’t come home crying when the gossips always make fun of your many lamebrain publicity schemes okay?!”

I am so sick of these two, it is unbelievable. It is the most unreal relationship, situation, whatever you want to call it. Everything that comes out of there mouth is all for publicity.

mmkay. well, “the hills” is lauren’s show and everything is hgoing to be spun for the most drama and to suit whatever view lauren wants it to. and it’s not heidi’s fault that lauren is going to die a lonely old spinster. :[

i’d rather die a lonely old spinster than to be the one to come up with a craptastic song with my rich white fugly boyfriend rapping (and humiliating himself) in it.

Anyone else notice how everything she says her parents feel for this guy is “past” tense. “They loved Spencer, they really did.”
“They thought he was so funny, and they thought we were literally two peas in a pod.”

Why past tense? weird. Most people would say “they love him, they think he’s funny” blah, blah. Hmmm..

i actually object to this title. heidi’s parents are good people who recognize a toolbox when they see one. i don’t think her relationship with spencer is met with wholehearted approval at home in Crested Butte.
if heidi feels like lying to make herself look better . . . well, it wouldn’t be the first time.
oh – and heidi doesn’t know what “literally” means. she only got her GED you know.
