Another insight into the confused world that Heidi Montag lives in. Montag talks about the story of how her mom, Darlene Egelhoff, reacted to her daughter’s marathon surgery day that left her looking like a Madame Tussauds wax doll, complete with artificial poses.
Montag told People magazine that he mother was horrified and said “I still can’t believe I’m 23 and mom is reacting this way.” And then in an obvious ad for The Hills she says she’s so nervous to face her for the first time, especially, gosh, in front of all those cameras.
Then when she was interviewed after the Franken-makeover she told Nightline her mom acquiesced, “Whatever makes you happy” even “I could definitely see your boobs looking incredible bigger.” Montag insisted they talked about her surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan, doing a mommy makeover on Egelhoff for Mothers Day.
Cut back to People today and to promoting her show, Montag says of the reunion ” I never thought in my wildest dreams she was going to react the way she did.” The human blow up doll explains “She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal. I wasn’t her daughter anymore.”
Either mother and daughter are both in on making a story for the show or Heidi is delusional. Or both.

I think she looks pretty, but she must feel terrible with all the judging going on. Y’know everyone needs to remember–EVERY SINGLE STAR IN HOLLYWOOD HAS HAD PLASTIC SURGERY…Heidi was just honest about hers. Google anyone and the words “before after” and you’ll see what I mean. As far as Spencer goes, I gotta hand it to him. He has stuck right by her through all of this, and taken care of her which could not have been easy. Plastic surgery always gets worse looking before better, which is an emotional rollercoaster of a ride!! Hang in there Heidi….this too shall pass….;)
