OK, despite myself, these two actually made me smile when I first saw these pictures. Yes, they are both as fake as those muscles bulging under Spencer’s Spiderman suit, but something inside me can’t help but be tickled by a couple that is willing to go all out in the spirit of Halloween. Spencer’s little poses during their interaction during the paparazzi totally reminds me of the dorky dad who lives next door, walking around, trying to impress the kids in the neighborhood with his goofy Spiderman costume and it’s almost so bad, it’s endearing. And Heidi’s goofy mermaid costume, which clearly highlights her newest assets, still is a hell of a lot less revealing and slutty than your average Hollywood starlet’s costume, and just makes her look like she’s the neighborhood MILTF out for a costume party with her goofball husband. Damn, maybe these two are meant for each other…

And then there can be a special Hills episode where they are all friends again because they have to stage an intervention to convince Sir Douchebag he’s not really Spiderman.. But he refuses! As he should so that I never have to look at his creepy aryan doucheness again!

Both are crap costumes — they look really cheap. My son’s Spiderman outfit was adorable and snug. Spencer’s looks like a zoot suit with muscles. And Heidi would have benefitted from a a Disney-brand little mermaid costume. It might have actually been “cute” on her!
