Ah, there’s nothing as satisfying in the rumor world as a confirmation. Even if it’s not a terribly juicy one.
Hilary Duff’s rep confirmed to US weekly that yes indeedy she’s engaged. Hockey player Mike Comrie popped the question in Hawaii this weekend. That ring looks a lot like the one she was sporting on her ring finger in 2008 so I’m going to start a new rumor: Hilary and Mark have been engaged for two years, but she’s been patiently waiting for Joel Madden to get engaged so she could steal some of Nicole Richie‘s thunder. And all because of those Lizze McGuire comments . Wow, I think I just found some respect for Hilary Duff. Get ready for the race to the alter stand off.
