Hollywood Came Together For ‘Hope For Haiti’

George Clooney sure knows how to put together a telethon. The Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief, took place last night in Los Angeles, New York, London and Haiti, and was masterminded by George Clooney and Wyclef Jean. It had extreme star power. From moving performances by Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce and Shakira to special appearances from Brad Pitt, Robert Pattinson (check out the video of Rob’s appearance) and Halle Berry it was overall a very well put together event.

The only part that I thought failed were the celebrities who were answering the phones whose conversations were broadcast on television. Watching Reese Witherspoon talk to her caller was extremely uncomfortable and awkward as she was struggling to figure out what to say to her caller.

Another interesting footnote to the evening were the former couples that were present. Just to name a few, there were Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas, Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz who did actually chat with each other.
