As you might recall about a month ago Paula Abdul was being auctioned on Ebay. The meet and greet also included a two-day stay in La complete with plane tickets, five star hotel stay, and a shopping trip on Rodeo Drive. After your day of fun the winner would sit in on a taping of American Idol and then meet Paula backstage. The bidding started at $25,000 and the funds would be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

Sadly, and not surprisingly, the auction was pulled after no bids where placed. Fox TV execs were banking on a bidding war over the celebrity (I use the term celebrity loosely) package. After zero interest in Paula a rep for Ebay put salt in the wound stating:

“This sort of charity auction usually makes a mint. It’s kind of sad that nobody wanted to bid on Paula.”

I guess the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation will go empty handed. I kinda wonder if the saw it coming though.
