I feel like I blinked and Howie Mandel got really crazy really fast.
Thursday morning, Mandel was stuck at the Heathrow Airport for over eight hours, a direct result of the terrorist threats. Page Six reports:
Mandel and his family were on their way to Rome to board a cruise and had just flown into London when the news broke. According to his rep, “He was stuck at the airport for over eight hours and couldn’t find a way out of London.” Mandel, a notorious germaphobe, ended up spending thousands to charter a private plane to get to Rome, which was just fine with him. “I watched the way we travel change before my very own eyes,” Mandel told us via his rep. “As much as the situation was unnerving, I took comfort in seeing people having to carry their personal effects in clear plastic bags. It just felt more sanitary.”
I guess at least it ain’t Mel Gibson crazy.
