According to the hottest singing and acting Australian in the world, Hugh Jackman, his kids, Ava and Oscar, absolutely love his new movie Real Steel. He tells Access Hollywood, “This is the first time they’ve really connected with one of my films.” Apparently papa Jackman hasn’t let the kids see him as Wolverine in the massively successful X-Men franchise, but Real Steel was right up their alley.

“I read this script for the first time with my son… I was like being a bad parent and instead of reading Tintin, I read Real Steel and my son made me read it to him for the next 10 nights. So, I knew we were on to a winner then.” Hugh says that most of the time the kids aren’t really interested in their dad, the actor, but his time changed. “This is the first time they were like, ‘We love this!’ And they wanna take their friends. They have all the action figures. My son sleeps with Adam the robot.”

Hugh may be one of my favorite actors out there right now. I mean, anybody who is going to do the robot at a film premiere at robots is clearly a winner. And what about those rumors that he actually fractured wrestler Dolph Ziggler’s jaw? “I think he’s exaggerating. Dolph likes to exaggerate.”
