Hugh Jackman Predicts ‘Wolverine’ Sequel Will Be Shot In Japan

It seems that X-Men Origins: Wolverine was successful enough to warrant a sequel. At the film’s premiere in Tokyo, Hugh Jackman tells fans that he believes the follow-up film will be set in Japan.

The actor tells the Japanese, “I’d like to invite you all to audition…I’ll let you know when we’re gonna be down here to shoot, but there’s gonna be a lot of sashimi for Wolverine.”

And as mysteriously as he arrived on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, leaving in a pink Cadillac.

    What do you mean successful enough? Wolverine made $370 million, a hit by any standard and that’s because people love Hugh Jackman.
