Hunky Aussie actor Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee, took the kids trick-or-treating on Halloween at Woollahra. His son Oscar Maximillian was dressed as a skeleton and daughter Ava Eliot as a fairy princess. Door to door women fainted as Hugh Jackman rang their bell.

This is another example of American Cultural Imperialism and commercialization. Halloween is not an Australian Tradition. Woolahra is a suburb of Sydney. If he rang my door bell I would tell him to piss off back to America.

We tend to accept all types of celebrations from many different cultures. As Australians we are aware that there is a world out there that has different cultural traditions to us. Apparently you are not aware of that. Pity. BTW check out where Halloween actually comes from.
A couple of years ago I had some people put a very polite note in my letter box asking if I would be happy for their children to trick or treat at my home and if I was to put a sign on the gate. I did and they came to my house and they were really happy little kids. Wrong? Nope just another way for neighbours to interact and respect each other.
