Showing off some collegiate fashions, 21-year-old Hunter Parrish posed for a stylish photo shoot for GQ magazine. The young star dishes on an upcoming guest appearance by singer Alanis Morissette.

Parris reveals, “She comes in about halfway through the season. There’s this whole issue of whether Nancy [Mary-Louise Parker], who is pregnant, is going to keep the baby. Alanis plays a doctor who runs an abortion clinic.”

In addition, the handsome young triple-threat (who is rumored to have been the favorite for Zac Efron‘s role in High School Musical, which he turned down) also tackled subject of his on-screen states of undress.

As Hunter tells it, “I had to show my butt last season for the first time…I called my parents and I was like, ‘Are you guys going to disown me if I do this?’ I don’t make all my decisions by them but it was nice to hear that they were supportive and clued-in.”

Interesting. Not exactly the type of buns one would want to discuss at Thanksgiving with the fam, but it sounds like everyone’s happy.
