Cool kid Maddox Jolie started his first day at school at Manhattan’s ultra-exclusive Lycee Francais de New York on the Upper East Side. They teach the kids in French. That’s interesting because you’d think Spanish or Japanese would be more useful. But all the rich bitches like their kids to know French. Maybe so they don’t seem hesitant in Paris when shopping for couture or something. I took five years of Latin and know nothing. It’s a dead language. I can sing “Come All Ye Faithful” in Latin, though. That’s something. No it isn’t.
His movie-star parents showed up at the East 75th Street campus – an $18,000-a-year private school where lessons are taught in French – on Tuesday for their oldest child’s first day, a source told The Post’s Jennifer Fermino. “They were just like normal parents,” said the snitch. Except better-looking, of course. Jolie recently told reporters she wanted to move around a lot so the kids could escape the media attention, but it appears they’re putting down roots in New York. The ever-expanding brood has been logging some serious time at the Upper West Side condo that Jolie has owned for years, according to another source. And Papa Pitt took Maddox, a Derek Jeter fan, to the Yankees’ game on Tuesday night.
I guess the Katrina guilt didn’t last too long. Imagine being able to move whenever and wherever you want with minimum hassle? The world is your U-Haul. You don’t need a U-Haul, you have beautfiul things around the world! I like Maddox’s outfit. You know he misses the days when it was just him and Ma and Brad before the other jerks showed up.
More photos of Maddox and Angelina are after the jump.

Green, what the hell are horizontal hailstones??? I actually have no idea what your on about and I’m extremely curious! I do not get the whole American obsession with Ireland, it rains pretty much every effing day here, (today was nice though :)) three quaters of the people here actually look kinda like potatoes (the rest are polish), and for some reason we have loads of really shitty roads (and I mean, really, really awful, some of them even have grass in the middle!) where the government thinks its funny to have no road signs to tell you where the road is going whatsoever and I’m not just talking Galway Mayo type country, freakin parts of Meath and Kildare are ridiculously easy to get lost in, which has led to us becoming worse than the Italiens at driving (its generally accepted that the Italiens are the rudest, most inconsiderate drivers in Europe, while the Brits and the Swiss are the best) plus everything here costs a freaking bomb, I paid EUR8.30 for a bacardi and coke last night, thats nearly $15!! I need to shut up now cas come Sunday I will turn into of those super patriotic abusive sluts and remember how much I hate those single point six nations cup stealing French bastards and God help anyone who isnt Irish who tries to say something bad about Ireland!!!!
PS good work, I’m sure I had a pro-Brangelina comment but now I have no idea what the hell it was!

Angietothemax – you are an idiot. Get off your high horse and stop talking like you’re better than everyone.
“I went to private school Sarah and no we were not required to take the public proficiency test. Especially since my school’s curriculum surpassed that of the public school systems.”
Hahahahahah…um silly…all states require standardized testing in some form depending on the grade for ALL schools. In the secondary years these test scores are whats used in the consideration for college entrance. Maybe they didn’t bother testing YOU though because it was apparent even back then that you would turn out to be a loser suck up with no life of your own.
I think it is funny that some of you are on here telling others to get a life and stop posting about the Jolie-Pitts. You are on here posting aren’t you? Why aren’t you out there getting a life?
As for testing, there are goals for all children in the school systems in the U.S. and it doesn’t matter if the schools are public or private. There has to be a way to measure the learning taking place. There are also attendance laws for ALL. There are parents out there who don’t send their kids to school the way they should and these people are not necessarily the lower class.
hotmess – a fellow bogger ! Horizontal hailstones. You know off the West coast, with the wind blowing in off the Atlantic and it’s a miserable November afternoon and you are walking along, minding your own business (thinking about Brang or whatever) and there is a hailstone shower that you get caught out in, but because the wind is so strong they don’t fall vertically, the spray at you horizontally, lashing you in the face. That wrecks my buzz man, as the knackers say.
I’m not living in Ireland right now but I dream of home. Looking forward to Sunday’s rugby. France play today. They are my second favourite team. All that flowing hair and those big noses. Swoon
In many states including the state of Indiana where I went to school private school, parochial, and out-of-state students are currently exempt from taking the high school exit exams. Requiring students from public schools to submit results creates a barrier to college admissions that only affects those students, while the traditional routes of access remain open to private, parochial, and out-of-state students.
My issue is with this uniform he’s sporting. It is not right.
