The cast of Vampire Diaries traveled to London where they appeared on This Morning in London. I’m always surprised how much more casual the interview style is over there. Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhandler spent a lot of time filling the hosts in on what the show was, but Nina talked a bit about her costumes for playing Katherine and we find out that Paul has perma-fangs.

The most interesting part of the interview is when one of the hosts asks about dealing with fame, an issue that Ian has strong feelings about.

“Listen, the success of this show, we are so grateful for and we are having so much fun doing it,” he says, “and whatever comes in the wake of that we welcome and appreciate.”

“It comes with the territory,” Nina adds, as he looks her way.

“It comes with the territory,” Ian continues, “and if we were to sit up here and complain…” at this point he shakes his head with disgust before Paul moves in with “I’ll tell you if it was the other way around and our show was canceled and no one was watching it we’d be pretty disappointed.”

The three genuinely enjoy the clamor of fans that gathered outside their hotel window and they head down to sign autographs for crowds. Remember Ian and Nina hanging out at the Lakers game recently? Adding to my speculation that they are dating, there are reports that the two went out and about quit a bit in London together. So in the spirit of “whatever comes in the wake” of success, you guys dating or what?
