Celebrity Babylon has learned that while her DJ pal Samantha Ronson, 29, looks like she’s there to help her pal through thick and thin, she’s really making a tidy profit on the side, shilling Lohan, 20, out to photographers eager to get her photo looking passed out and wasted. While an “out of it” Lohan thought she was just going home after a night out at Teddy’s in Hollywood on May 27, Ronson who was holding the cocaine later found in Lindsay’s car. “There were three of them crammed into the Mercedes sports car and Samantha was the one that had the cocaine with her. made a side trip to a gas station. A source tells Celebrity Babylon, “The car was only down a quarter tank, and yet Samantha stopped for gas. She has a side deal with a photo agency and they paid her to make the pit stop!” If that wasn’t shocking enough, sources say that it was RonsonLindsay later questioned her about leaving it in the car for the cops to find and Samantha blew her off.” Ronson, who makes anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 a night deejaying at clubs and private parties, has accumulated a substantial side income taking her pal in front of paparazzi cameras for money.

But she fights the demons of a weak family structure and the social temptations that we all faced but magnified tenfold.

Is she gonna pull herself out of this ala Angelina and become the best that she can be (sorry anti-Angie squad)—or is she gonna throw it all away and maybe even die?

None would deny that Angelina was a crazy nut. One is just thinking about the person she became, what you do after you fall on the pit is what counts.
About Lindsay Lohan; I feel really sad for the way people take advantage of her, but there is something called personal responsibility and as you said, she either turns it around and becomes some sort of saint or she dies, I don’t think she could live the happy middle after such destruction.
I hope she gets better, cuz I’m mean and I hate her guts but even I can wish someone well once in a while.

Akare–I appreciated your post because I too can get pissed at people who don’t take responsibility, who whine, etc. And when they have all the privelages and opportunities and they spit on it—its annoying.
But our youth is a time to make our messes and hopefully learn from them and lead a meaningful life eventually. Most of us need all the support we can get because no matter what outward ‘stuff’ we have, we all still face the same basic human challenges in life.
You made me laugh when you said you hate her guts and you’re mean—ah! the joys of being human!—but you still root for the girl.

the problem is that lindsayl has been forced into rehab to better deal with possible charges. We all see what happened to britney when she was forced into rehab: nothing————shes still a druggy and a drunk and a shitty mom. When they are forced into rehab it doesnt stick is all I’m saying.

I just wonder why people remember “Angie” and not “Drew” Drew Barrymore is a perfect example of what Lindsay needs to become. A classy wonderful actress and woman who truely loves herself. HOwever I really doubt that will happen. I’m so tired of hearing about Paris and Lindsay and Brittney and the whole gang, why do we glorify this type of behavior and neglect to mention the good stuff other celebs are doing ( Take Hayden Pattienere for instance, I only saw on blog do one post on her efforts to help Save the Whales)

I feel bad for the girl. I do. Much as I try to be a hard-hearted bitch, I feel bad for her. Nobody deserves to be treated that way by their own family and people claiming to be their friends. But like Akare said, Lindsay’s the one who has to take responsibility for what she’s doing. Her family and friends are a bad influence, but she’s allowing herself to be treated this way. I’d like to say that rehab is going to help her but realistically I know it won’t. She’s going to go right back to her friends and family and partying life. And it’s sad.
I agree that Lindsay needs to take personal responsibility. Hopefully, she will learn to do this a little in rehab. Because the first step in this is for her to remove those people from her life who are selling her out. The people selling her out are wrong. But if she is aware that they are then she needs to remove them. I believe that has probably been a hard thing for her to do, as she has never had much stability in her life nor real friends – she probably feels like she needs to accept whatever attention and friendship she can get. However, I think her doing that also contributes to her substance abuse problems, as when you realize that no one likes you for you and that you’ve allowed it then it is probably hard to like yourself a whole lot.
I hope she takes proactive measures to get rid of the negative people in her life. I think Lindsay is very talented and I love her spunky attitude. I want her to get better.

Dottie darling, Angie asks to get slammed her behavior as a parent leaves so much to be desired and those poor children she has are all going to be F**KED–funny thing is I am truely one of the hardest people on Angie and it’s only because of how she leads her life. I used to love Angie but she lost all my respect once she started collecting children, spit out her own “blob” so that she could ignore her…contradicting herself in every interview blah blah who cares anymore I just don’t get why people put her on such a high & holy pedestal.
