Page Six is reporting the pregnancy part as fact, so we’ll just roll with it. The new twist to the story is that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are engaged. This speculation is all due to a ring that Nicole Richie was wearing at the YSL Pool Party.
She was conspicuously wearing a huge diamond engagement ring. “It was one big rock surrounded by more diamonds,” our source said. Richie refused to talk about the ring. Meanwhile, Madden was “overly attentive to her – keeping his arm around her all night – and repeatedly asked her if she was OK.” The cozy couple ate everything on their plates, lobster salad and lamb, but refused all alcohol, which our snarky spy called “a first for her.”
Love it. A first.

I would think she would have trouble getting pregnant since she is so thin, although lately she seems to have put on a few pounds.
I don’t believe she is ready for marriage. If she gets married, Paris will probably get jealous and their friendship will hit the rocks again.

Nicole looks beautiful, but what is up with that over-sized necklace? I’m glad it didn’t topple her onto her face. Maybe the giant ring gives her stability.

Hm. I don’t know about this. Is Nicole ready? Is Joel? Sure they are in love, but this is a child we are talking about, not a puppy.
And I am going to ask the one question that many are probably going to think or say when they read this – what would Hilary think? It’s been about 7 months since the two split after their 2 1/2 year relationship…
Just something dosn’t seem right about this and I cannot put my finger on it.
