Charlie Sheen and Rosie O’Donnell are speaking up to support the theory that the U.S. government was somehow involved in the plot behind the attacks of 9/11. Sheen’s rep has confirmed that he has agreed to be the narrator for the YouTube documentary, “Loose Change.” The doc implies that the mass murder, which took place at the World Trade Center was actually conceived by an unscrupulous group of U.S. federal officials. Page Six reports:

Sources say Sheen – whose father, Martin Sheen, has been arrested 63 times protesting on behalf of various leftist causes – is in talks with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban’s Magnolia Pictures to distribute “Loose Change.” Sheen has called for a new independent probe of the attack, telling Alex Jones’ radio show: “It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75 percent of their targets, that feels like a conspiracy theory. It raises a lot of questions.”

As for Rosie, she’s using her blog to promote a similar sentiment, based on the theories concocted by Matt Rivero of whatreallyhappened.com.

Having had grown up on a military base, I’ve got a some personal experience on the subject of dealing with the government. And let me tell you, my biggest beef I’ve got with conspiracy theorists and proposed cover-ups is that quite frankly, they take too much paperwork. And people HATE paperwork. And that, my friends, is about as political as I’m willing to get this close to the weekend.
