Britney’s sometimes mouthpiece, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, spilled to Life & Style that the pop star has been hitting a few speedbumps along the road to her comeback, most specifically in the recording studio. Leslie revealed that the initial release date for Britney’s upcoming album was this fall, but that it has since been postponed until an undetermined date in 2008.
“I put her on hiatus,” Zelnik says. “Brit’s album is pushed until ’08. If she has no album, there’s no reason to do anything. I’m representing her in theory right now. I said that since the album is pushed back until ’08, let’s go on hiatus until we have a campaign to do.”
So yeah, that’s the spin from Britney’s camp, but it sounds like there (of course) might be more behind Britney’s decision to slow things down a bit. According to an inside source, Spears has been having trouble getting her creative juices flowing in the studio and was actually expecting the album to be pushed back an additional year because of all of the problems Brit’s been having.
“Jive [Records, Brit's label] hated the songs Britney was coming up with, except for a few. The executives are not happy. And she didn’t want to listen to anyone. Everything was a problem for her. They wanted her to work with certain people, and she wanted the opposite.”
She should take a moment, look at her life and think, “Hmm, since my instincts about everything I’ve done for about the past five years have been DEAD WRONG, maybe I should pretend it’s Opposite Day. For the rest of my life.”

Noooooo, Lisa – remember her letter to her “fans”??? She thinks her life now is a result of listening to EVERYONE ELSE. So OF COURSE she won’t start listening to the right people NOW. Lots more batshit craziness to come… she will never be known as “sane” again. Kind of a shame for those kids. But entertaining for us.

Hopefully people will help her to soon realize that her music career is over. All that hassle of lip syncing and learning second rate dance routines is behind ya Brit!…now, it’s time to kick off the porn career!! C’mon already…you gotta get at least 100 movies made by the time you’re 30, girl!
