It’s The Maria Bamford Show!

This has become my new favorite thing to watch on the Internet. This is a webisode series I found on Super Deluxe done by comedian Maria Bamford, who combines personal video-blogging with her stand-up comedy to create something more addictive than crack. Filmed in her parents’ home in Duluth, Minnesota, Maria delves into her severe OCD, her “Unwanted Thought Syndrome,” her struggle to achieve success in the entertainment industry as a comedian, all the while accompanied by her dog-companion, Blossom.

I also recently caught some live stand-up from Maria here in Los Angeles and when I met her, she was just as sweet and clever as she is on her series, so that made me happy. You can learn more about her and her comedy here on her website.
